The Italian American Sport Foundation (IASF) is an independent and humanitarian non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for sports projects that help individuals (women and children in the first instance) to improve their lives and achieve their goals.

The Foundation believes in the pedagogical, formative, and healing power of sports to enrich our lives. IASF will sponsor scholarships designed for athletes, organize sports events dedicated to children, and provide courses that teach women specific sports activities to build confidence.

The Foundation is non-partisan, based in New York City, and has a branch office in Rome, Italy.

IASF is governed by a President who reports to the Foundation’s Board of Directors to guide the selection of projects and allocate financial resources each year. Additionally, IASF uses the advice and counsel of an impartial Honorary Committee made up of leading personalities in the world of sport.

The Italian American Sport Foundation will monitor the outcomes of the projects financed and report on the financial allocations to individual social initiatives.
