Daniel Romano is a partner of the Grant Thornton LLP’s Not-for-Profit Tax Services practice where he has held numerous leadership roles.

For nearly 30 years, Daniel has provided tax advice and compliance services to tax-exempt organizations in the not-for-profit industry on various matters including tax minimization, contract structure, operations, governance, and other policy and procedural needs.

Daniel has worked with hundreds of charities, universities, foundations, and other not-for-profit organizations, including some of the most prominent in the world.

Daniel is a frequent speaker at not-for-profit industry seminars and has led and created training sessions on applicable tax matters for internal firm staff as well as industry groups.

Daniel frequently writes tax alerts on behalf of Grant Thornton and is the co-author of the firm’s publication – Establishing and Maintaining a Private Foundation.
