A message from Margot to Alessandro Pinto, CEO IASF:

Good morning/Ciao Alessandro,

Thank you again for a lovely launch to a fun, great weather marathon weekend!

I finished in 5 hours and 15 minutes. My goal was 4 hours and 50 minutes. I did not train enough for the hills and bridges so the end was the challenge. I am grateful to have this goal behind me. ✅

Most importantly, thank you for my trophy now on my desk, the beautiful and useful sneakers, the IASF shirt and bag and the way to my heart, chocolate. 🙂

I am forever grateful for your sponsorship and hope you get some much deserved rest in the very near future.

Warmly and gratefully!
Margot

Running a marathon is a journey of determination, resilience, and passion. For many, it’s not just about crossing the finish line but about the impact it can have on their lives and the lives of others.

The IASF 2024 NYC Marathon runners are not only achieving personal milestones but are also raising vital funds for IASF’s impactful projects. Their efforts support great causes, making every mile they run meaningful.

As an Italian American and a New Yorker, I couldn't be happier to have kicked off my Abbot Six Marathon journey right here at home! I hope to inspire my children, showing them through hard work and determination, any goal is achievable.

This year I have the opportunity to run my first marathon in NYC supporting IASF! I strongly believe an active lifestyle (especially running!) is directly correlated to your health and happiness. I am passionate about fitness and I have completed the Chicago Rock and Roll half marathon.

Hi Friends! It is Jackie Courtesis and I am beyond excited to announce that I am running the NYC Marathon with the Italian American Sports Foundation. As a 2nd generation Italian American and a New Yorker, there is no better organization to run for, nor no better city to run my first marathon in!

Hi! Thank you for visiting my fundraising platform for the Italian American Sport Foundation (IASF) in the 2023 New York City Marathon. As you may or may not know, I come from a family of Italian immigrants.

Ciao! If you are reading this it is because you want to make a difference and together we can. The funds raised here for the Italian American Sport Foundation will go toward the purchase of prosthetic limbs for young athletes who otherwise would not be able to train and compete.
