STARS IN THE NIGHT

Notte di Stelle it’s the charity auction organized by IASF, an exclusive event for sports enthusiasts and collectors of sports memorabilia.
Special guest of the evening will be Stefano Meloccaro, journalist, writer and tennis TV reporter. Stefano is also a member of the IASF Honorary Committee.

He, along with his committee colleagues, will choose the project to which to devote the funds raised with the auction.

November 4th, 2021 (Event Postponed)

The date of November 4th, 2021 was inspired by the anniversary of the 50th edition of the NYC Marathon, which will take place on Sunday, November 7, 2021, with Covid-19 safety standards.

Due to delayed reopening of US borders on Nov. 8th 2021, the event has been POSTPONED to 2022. Stay tuned!

The NYC Marathon is considered The Marathon par excellence.

With more than 50,000 participants annually representing 140 countries worldwide and millions of dollars raised for humanitarian causes over the decades, the NYC Marathon embodies one of the most impactful socio-economic global sporting events.

Italians love NYC. They love its extraordinary Marathon – a place of challenge but, above all, of human connections – and the reason why thousands of Italian runners participate every year.

New York City

The link between Italy and New York City has always been tangible. And, even more so, the love story between Italy and the NYC Marathon. A story that does not end with the race. The Podium Event represents an excellent stage where you can see the suburbs of the Metropolitan City, its characteristics and the electrifying lifestyle.

The Italian “brotherhood” is expressed in connecting with the local citizens, a visit to the most unique places it can offer, day and night, the City of blinding lights and the most unusual and familiar haunts to marathon runners of all ages.

The mission of the event is to honor the life and successes of Giusy Versace, President of the Foundation “Disabili No Limits Onlus.” The evening will retrace the incredible and motivational personal, professional and, above all, the sportsmanship of Giusy Versace.

Giusy, the niece of Gianni, Donatella and Santo, embodies and transmits, to those who know her, the values of positivity, optimism and tenacity that all athletes have at their lowest common denominator: Entrepreneur, Paralympic sprinter in the T43 category, writer, performer, congresswoman, activist and… much more!

Giusy Versace’s Celebratory Gala aims to raise funds, thanks to our sponsors of the event and the proceeds from table sales and donations, is intended for the Traveling Tour Initiative “Together for Sport” to be kicked off in Italy in Spring 2022. Thanks to the Disabled Association No Limits Onlus volunteers, founded to bring children and the disabled closer to Paralympic sport, through the purchase and distribution of prostheses and other necessities, the most beautiful locations in numerous Italian cities will be the protagonists of a unique sporting event.

All participants in the Italian Tour will be allowed to experience and learn more about technologies such as sports prostheses, unique wheelchair basketball chairs and many other aids that will enable EVERYONE to play sports in the spirit of inclusion and participation.

We invite you to attend the Gala Dinner. All are welcome! Join us for a unique sports event dedicated to giving back for a good cause.

Following the strict compliance with the US regulations related to the Global Covid-19 Pandemic, the evening will guarantee the participation of hundreds of guests, adequately protected, who will have the opportunity to purchase a ticket or several tables with friends.
